Challenge #11 - Color Challenge Plus

Congratulations to last week's challenge winners!
Here we are again for a new challenge.  Welcome to Challenge #11, Color Challenge Plus!  JUST REMEMBER, if you use an image from Pattie's Creations, you will get an extra entry to win!  Stop over at her Etsy Store and browse around.  There are FREEBIES too, just click on the link in the Menu Bar on top and grab one.

The theme for this week's challenge is 'Color Challenge Plus'.  Black and White with one other color, flesh tones for skin is a freebie!  The Plus portion is that you MUST use a Digital Image on your creation!  Our DT created some wonderful inspirations for this week's challenge, and they love to receive comments, I know that I do, so click on their names to view their blogs.

A winner will be chosen by Random.org.  The winner will receive a $10.00 credit towards the purchase at Pattie's Etsy Store and an 'I Won' badge from the sidebar.

'Allie's Choice Award' will be given to an entry with a Pattie's Creations image.  That winner will be chosen by the DT Leads and can proudly display our badge on their sidebar.

The challenge starts now and ends Thursday, January 27th at 1PM CST (Central Standard Time).
Now let's see what this week's DT 1 has for your inspiration.

Bev
Bev chose Red as her other color and she went with one of Pattie's newer images called 'Watering Can with Daisies'.  Super coloring of this image!  Well done Bev!

Linda used 'Three Daisies' for her image.  Wow, wow, wow!
She picked shades of Yellow as her other color.  So pretty!

Mel went with 'Watering Can with Daisies' for her creation.  She used shades of Yellow as her other color!  Awesome coloring, and I love the yellow pearls as the center of the daisies.  I love these colors, well done Mel!

Theresa went with Pattie's image called 'Iceskates with Bow'.  Pretty flower embellies and love those Red colors.  Now wouldn't it be nice to go skating with your sweetie.  Nicely done!

Sandi (that's me)
I made an altered chalk box cover using 'Artist Pattieboop'.
My other color is shades of Red.  Just click on my name to see all of my details at my blog.

swallow's nest in an edible gel form is supposed be good for the skin too. it gives that clear and pasty skin that we all love.

it's mad expensive. my brother and i bought some for my mom for her birthday. it was like 400 bucks for like a 6-8 oz jar. Luckily we finally found the one of popular brand online (hongkong-bird-nest.50webs.com/index_e.htm and http://www.euyansang.com/)

dad said it's really popular in indonesia. that a guy has to climb a high mountain to get the nest. that's why it's so expensive.

i mean why doesn't the dude just look for the fabled korean swallow king, capture it and let it lay eggs full of gold! then, he wouldn't have to work so hard and climb them high mountains.
